This unique building, dating from the 13th century, is a haven of tranquillity nestled amongst the steep alleys and perched in the heights of the village. The former guards room has frescoes and a vaulted fireplace. Regional and seasonal cuisine, by chef David Beauvais, is served in the evening in the bistro restaurant, with its sliding ceiling formed of two hundred originally painted panels which opens to reveal the sky above. Guests can take lunch on the terrace whilst enjoying the panoramic view.
