Day 1 : UK to Paris
Travel to Paris by Eurostar. You will have a private transfer to your first hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a four hour private guided tour of Paris. By following the course of the Seine, discover the monuments that make the world famous Paris, get acquainted with the rich and eventful history of the city and enjoy the most beautiful views.
Day 2 : Paris
This morning you will be collected from your hotel by your driver and personal guide for a five hour visit to the Palace of Versailles (with priority access), home to Louis XIV, Marie Antoinette and over 300 years of French history. On your return to the city centre, enjoy a wine tour with a professional oenologist, including a tasting at two different wine cellars along with cheese and artisan charcuterie.
Day 3 : Paris to Bordeaux
You will have a private transfer to the railway station, before travelling by first class rail to Bordeaux. In the afternoon, take an introductory lesson in Bordeaux wines by a sommelier including a tasting of four wines. In the evening, enjoy a seven-course tasting menu with wine pairing at Restaurant Le Chapon Fin.
Day 4 : Bordeaux
Today, you will be transferred to Saint-Emilion for an exclusive visit and tasting at Chateau Tour Saint Christophe. This also includes a picnic lunch on the terrace. In the afternoon, you will have a private guided visit of the medieval village of Saint-Emilion and its underground monuments before a second exclusive visit and tasting.
Day 5 : Bordeaux
Today, you will be transferred to the Medoc for an exclusive visit and tasting at Chateau Phelan Segur, where you can enjoy lunch at the private table with wine pairings. There will be a further visit and tasting during the afternoon with a wine analysis workshop.
Day 6 : Bordeaux
Today, your private driver guide will take you to Arcachon for an amazing day around the Atlantic coast. Enjoy a plate of oysters with a glass of white wine and meet the oyster farmer. Then have lunch at Philippe Stark designed restaurant La Corniche. In the afternoon discover the Arcachon basin by boat before returning to Bordeaux.
Day 7 : Bordeaux to Paris to UK
You will have a private transfer to the railway station and travel first class by rail to Paris, before taking the Eurostar back to the UK.
