Day 1 : UK to Paris
Travel to Paris by Eurostar. You will have a private transfer to your first hotel. In the afternoon, your guide will take you to the heart of the Marais to discover the local street art. You will learn about the most famous street artists of the city and can photograph the works you like the most.
Day 2 : Paris
After breakfast, discover Giverny on a five hour tour. 80km from Paris, this is a charming village where Claude Monet lived. You can see his house, workshop and the wonderful garden and also enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
Day 3 : Paris to Deauville
This morning, take the train from Paris to Rouen. After lunch, enjoy the medieval city, visit the magnificent Cathedral Notre Dame and the giant Renaissance Clock ‘the Gros Horloge’. You can then visit the Plume Garden before being transferred by private car to your hotel in Deauville.
Day 4 : Deauville
Discover the old town of Honfleur and the melodies of Erik Satie, renowned musician, while visiting his former house. In the afternoon, visit le Pays d’Auge, land of cider farms and wonderful gardens, and enjoy a commented local cheese tasting.
Day 5 : Deauville to Dinard
This morning, you will visit the unique Mont Saint Michel, which balances on a 264-foot rock just off the Normandy Coast. In the afternoon, visit an oyster farm and enjoy a commented tasting of fresh oysters, caviar, champagne and Kouign Amann (typical Breton cake). You will then be taken to your hotel in Dinard by private car.
Day 6 : Dinard
Enjoy a morning at leisure before meeting your private guide and enjoying a typical crepes lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, discover Dinan, a city with a preserved medieval heritage and natural landscapes. Before returning to your hotel, visit Saint Malo, a real Corsair city!
Day 7 : Dinard to Paris
Start the day by visiting Rennes with your guide – discover the Opera of Rennes as well as the Saint Pierre Cathedral. In the afternoon wander the medieval streets at your leisure before relaxing in the Thabor gardens. Then you will be taken to Rennes railway station for your first class rail journey to Paris.
Day 8 : Paris to UK
You will have a private transfer to the railway station, before taking the Eurostar back to the UK.
